By creating an account with QChing - whether through direct registration or third-party authentication services (such as Google, Facebook, or other OAuth providers) - you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Use of any authentication method to access QChing constitutes your agreement to all terms stated herein.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QChing, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

QChing is a quantum-based I Ching consultation service offering both Standard mode (synced across devices) and Private mode (local device storage only). The readings provided are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from using our service.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service
Each person is permitted only one account - creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or other restrictions is prohibited
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You agree to provide accurate and complete information
You are responsible for all activities under your account
By creating an account through any method, including third-party authentication services, you expressly agree to these Terms and Conditions

4. Private Mode

Private mode stores conversations locally on your device using IndexedDB
We have no access to or liability for private mode data
You are solely responsible for backing up private conversations
Browser data deletion will permanently remove private conversations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Use automated systems to access the service (except AI assistants via our official MCP integration)
Create multiple accounts to abuse free credits or bypass usage limits
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
Submit content that violates our community standards or applicable laws
Interfere with the proper working of the service

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of QChing are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Scientific Research

By using QChing, you acknowledge that anonymized data may be used for scientific research. You maintain the right to opt out of research participation as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any readings or information provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

10. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of QChing shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Canada. You agree to waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit against us.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold QChing harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Refunds and Cancellations

We offer a 30-day refund policy for paid services. To request a refund, contact us at support@qching.ai within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds are calculated based on unused credits:

Full refund: No credits used from your purchase
Partial refund: Prorated amount based on remaining unused credits
No refund: All purchased credits have been used

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

Digital content accessed or downloaded cannot be returned. Refunds may be denied for violations of these terms or abuse of the refund policy.

16. Severability
